Hello! That’s me, with the red hair and goofy smile. These pages are always so awkward to write: so if I have to define myself by what I do, then I’m primarily a student. I ask lots of questions. It’s my job.

In the years prior to living in Canada, I was a shark-battling aviatrix from Philadelphia, PA. Now my life’s work entails going to school, learning as much as I can through my internship, and doing lots of research that I find fulfilling and intriguing. In my free time I look for things to do so that I don’t have so much free time. For filler, I also like to break out my watercolours, bike around Stanley Park, and carry on philosophical debates with my plants. I really enjoy my life, and I’m not ashamed to say it.

I also love stinky cheese, dance music and going on road trips. Lately I’ve spent most of my waking hours plodding away at my thesis project, which takes time away from the road trippin’ and Friday night dance parties. This probably makes me sound boring to most people, but then again most people have never been a pilot who has fought sharks to the death. So there’s that.
